Following an order placed on May 29th on their website, I encountered an unacceptable delivery problem. The delivery driver handed me an order that wasn't mine. After contacting them immediately, they confirmed that my order was indeed at the restaurant and that it was a mistake by the driver. I therefore requested a refund. I was then told to contact Uber, on the pretext that the delivery was handled by their services. However, since my order was placed directly on their website, it's not my responsibility to deal with an external provider, especially since Uber doesn't have my payment information. The next day, I was assured that Uber would process the refund, which seems illogical. I tried to file a complaint myself: invalid email addresses, no response via their website, impossible to get a reliable contact. I made numerous calls, without ever receiving any serious follow-up. Each time, my file is ignored, no manager is available, and I've even been hung up on. The lack of professionalism is blatant. In the end, I'm simply offered the option of coming back to reorder, without any refund or compensation for the inconvenience, including delivery charges. The staff are unpleasant, unconcerned, and sometimes even contemptuous. For an order over €30, this situation is unacceptable. Customer service is nonexistent, and the contact methods are ineffective. This experience reflects a complete lack of consideration for the customer. I strongly advise against this establishment, especially the one located in the 14th arrondissement. I am considering taking action with the relevant authorities.
