Pizza Marzano

Absolutely avoid this place. Dirty cutlery, overwhelmed staff, and a pizza made mostly of grated cheese and undercooked dough. It was particularly disgusting. And expensive too! A very bad experience.

Good pizza and good service

A very pleasant and generous salad/pizza platter served on a sunny terrace on Rue des Italiens – perfect for the start of spring.

As soon as you arrive, you get the feeling you're in an impersonal chain with a lounge-like atmosphere, mainly used to justify the high prices (between €12 and €16 for pizzas, which is on the upper end of the Parisian average). It's normal for the waiter to do his job by offering an aperitif. But insisting twice that we order one is tiresome. Especially when they pull the same stunt with dessert for the two people at the table who don't. The pizzas are decent, with a fairly thin crust and enough toppings, but they're pretty ordinary. According to my friends who ordered dessert, the tiramisu is of the same caliber (okay, nothing special). In short, decent food, a lounge setting, and service that's pushing hard to inflate the bill. I wouldn't recommend it, especially since there are plenty of other restaurants in the area.

The day I went to this pizzeria, I received excellent service from a waiter who gave us great advice, and to whom I even gave a tip. The atmosphere was friendly. We even had a salmon pizza, which isn't something all pizzerias offer.
